Created for our client’s merchandise collection, “Hope” was designed to meet their request for artwork that connects cultural history with a positive, uplifting message. Inspired by the murals of Persepolis, this illustration shows the lion and the bull, symbols of the ongoing struggle between two forces. Instead of showing defeat, the lion’s attack shows the constant push and pull between light and darkness, reflecting the client’s idea of hope and the promise of renewal. The word “hope” is written in Persian cuneiform, blending ancient symbols with modern meaning to create a design that speaks to people today.
